We’re looking for a passionate Business Development Manager to join our journey and help personalize the moving experience for our discerning clients.

Reports to:       CEO

Supervises:       Moving Consultant

 

Your Role: A Catalyst for Growth and Innovation

The overall purpose of this role is to grow channels for long-term revenue generation and ensure profitability with a strategic focus on residential moving, corporate moving, and storage services.

 

As our Business Development Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind our growth strategy.

 

What You’ll Do:

Upon confirmation, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

  • Seek out and secure new business opportunities, adding a personal touch to our residential and corporate moving services.
  • Drive sales growth across all client segments, infusing creativity and innovation in your approach.
  • Develop and nurture sales channels that boost our brand visibility and lead to more inquiries and conversions.
  • Forge meaningful local and international partnerships that align with our vision.
  • Represent Nellions at trade exhibitions and spearhead engaging activations.
  • Craft and present compelling pitch decks that resonate with our clients.
  • Devise marketing strategies that spark interest and demand, both online and offline, and evaluate their effectiveness.
  • Analyze sales data, draw insights, and recommend strategies for improvement.
  • Conduct market research to stay ahead of client needs, industry trends, and emerging opportunities.
  • Build and refine systems that foster lasting client relationships and encourage repeat business.
  • Maintain a robust client referral system.
  • Lead, mentor, and oversee the performance of our sales team.

 

Who You Are:

  • You hold a degree in Sales, Marketing, or a related field from a recognized institution.
  • You’re a master negotiator and persuader, with a knack for pitching ideas that resonate.
  • You bring at least 3 years of experience in a similar role, ideally within the services sector.
  • Your approach to work is marked by confidentiality, thoroughness, and attention to detail.
  • You’re self-motivated, creative, proactive, and always looking for new ways to make an impact.
  • Your track record in closing deals speaks for itself.
  • You’re decisive, an excellent communicator, and a natural leader.

 

Compensation

We offer a competitive remuneration package with commission and bonuses for this role.
