We enjoy moving work and our intention is to always give clients a good moving experience.  Out of experience, we have picked a few things which we suggest that clients should always personally handle/pack by themselves for the sake of their privacy, comfort, and peace of mind.

Some of these are:

  • Identification documents like passports, birth certificates, Identity cards,
  • Academic and professional certificates
  • Documents of ownership – Land deeds, vehicle log books, share certificates, insurance certificates, etc
  • Medicine
  • Cash and cheque books.
  • Family heirlooms.
  • Jewellery and watches – some are sentimental and memorable gifts
  • Handbags, purses, clutch bags and wallets
  • Keys – house and vehicles
  • Blue tooth devices, headphones, and earphones
  • External hard disks, flash disks, memory cards, memory card readers, power adapters, power banks, and USB cables
  • Mobile phones, laptops, iPods, and tablets,
  • Cameras and their accessories
  • Firearms – even when they are licensed.
  • Sunglasses, spectacles and their casings
  • Toothbrushes – this is a personal hygiene issue
  • Body sprays, splashes, and deodorants
  • Narcotics/illegal drugs, ivory, unlicensed animal trophies, and pornographic material

Ideally, these items should be packed ahead of the move day.
