We enjoy moving work and our intention is to always give clients a good moving experience. Out of experience, we have picked a few things which we suggest that clients should always personally handle/pack by themselves for the sake of their privacy, comfort, and peace of mind.
Some of these are:
- Identification documents like passports, birth certificates, Identity cards,
- Academic and professional certificates
- Documents of ownership – Land deeds, vehicle log books, share certificates, insurance certificates, etc
- Medicine
- Cash and cheque books.
- Family heirlooms.
- Jewellery and watches – some are sentimental and memorable gifts
- Handbags, purses, clutch bags and wallets
- Keys – house and vehicles
- Blue tooth devices, headphones, and earphones
- External hard disks, flash disks, memory cards, memory card readers, power adapters, power banks, and USB cables
- Mobile phones, laptops, iPods, and tablets,
- Cameras and their accessories
- Firearms – even when they are licensed.
- Sunglasses, spectacles and their casings
- Toothbrushes – this is a personal hygiene issue
- Body sprays, splashes, and deodorants
- Narcotics/illegal drugs, ivory, unlicensed animal trophies, and pornographic material
Ideally, these items should be packed ahead of the move day.
