The Nellions definition of a mover is person who is multi-skilled in matters pertaining to packing, handling, transportation and setting up of all types of household and office effects. This person is alert to the multicultural and multi-racial nature of the contemporary urban environment and is therefore good in communication with a good sense of judgement. He/she is solution-oriented and knows that on the move day, it is never done until the client satisfied.

The Nellions Academy is a unique place where moving skills are imparted on fresh, selected people using a documented curriculum. By the time the movers are certified, they will have acquired more 70 skills necessary to enable them deliver true value to clients while upholding the name of the Moving Industry.
The Academy is the knowledge hub of our company and therefore is used for continuous training for all employees. At Nellions everyone is a mover and therefore going through the academy is a way of life.
The broader purpose of academy is to create true life champions and for this reason, the academy’s training goes beyond just moving so that even when one leaves the moving industry he/she will have been more empowered.

As an industry leader in East Africa, Nellions believes in use of modern technology through all its processes with an eye in improving client experience while enhancing efficiency. The company has it’s own bespoke CRM system called Nellions Mobility. It is used for both communicating with clients as well as securing their data. The company runs a paperless pre-move survey process and all Move Consultants are equipped with tablets which are installed with custom made Apps for conducting surveys.
When Nellions is doing your export packing or storage packing don’t get shocked when you see the moving crew appear at your residence with a tablet. It’s because, the company has a custom made app for preparing paperless Packing Lists which clients sign on screen and is immediately sent to their personal email addresses. Nellions also conducts virtual/video surveys using the open tools available and this has become very helpful since the onset of COVID-19. Clients personal data is always safe.
